Author Biography
Author Terry K is a twenty-five year veteran of the sales profession. At age 51 he is the proud father of two daughters and a son and has one granddaughter. His “A type” personality traits and selling skills brought him many awards and recognition during his career.
Going for Broke…and Making It is based on some very negative life experiences due to these positive behaviors being infected by the disease of compulsive gambling.
His background as a salesman, as well as his involvement in politics and the martial arts, gave him the perseverance and will to survive the dark side of compulsive gambling.
He is now living life as a recovering compulsive gambler and is telling his story about his rise, fall, and rise again as he tries to live life on life's terms and achieve greater successes. He tells his story to give hope to other compulsive gamblers who still suffer.
With an estimated five percent of the country’s population suffering from problem gambling, Terry K. will continue to take his message of hope to others through this website: www.goingforbroke.net, and through his speaking program for groups of other “A” types on how to avoid the pitfalls he encountered.
